CareBee by AXIMEDIC

One place for everything you're carrying

Care coordination for the person doing the caring.

If you're managing someone else's health, you already know the problem: the diagnosis lives in one place, the medications in another, appointments somewhere else again, and nobody but you is holding all of it. CareBee puts the whole picture in one app — and gives one family member the standing to act on it.

Who this is for

63 million people are doing this job without any tools

The caregiving population in the United States grew 45% in a decade. The average caregiver puts in 27 hours a week — nearly a quarter of them give 40 or more. And the share reporting real difficulty coordinating care has climbed from 19% to 26%, because the systems never adapted to the fact that a family member is now the integration layer.

What CareBee actually does

Four things no other app in this category puts together

Care Captain™

One family member is designated as Care Captain and holds real authority over a dependent's care — appointments, plan changes, clinical notifications, and coordination between providers. They can hold that role for more than one person, which matters when you're caring for both parents.

The authority is cryptographically enforced, so a provider can verify who is allowed to act before they act.

Circle of Care

Everyone involved — siblings, physicians, specialists, therapists, home aides — gets exactly the level of access their role calls for. Care plan updates, medication changes, and appointment moves reach the right people without a group text.

Synchronized through AXERP Health over HL7-FHIR R4, so clinical systems and the household stay in agreement.

Medical Power of Attorney — included

Every subscription includes Medical Power of Attorney. Standalone legal services charge around $199 for a will-and-POA package; here it comes with the app, because a Care Captain without legal standing isn't much use in an emergency room.

Medical Advisor and second-opinion access add on at $50 or $100 a month. Patient advocacy is quoted per case.

Ambient AI Scribe

Appointments get recorded and turned into structured clinical notes automatically, using AWS HealthScribe. What the specialist said is captured accurately instead of half-remembered in the car afterwards.

Output is coded FHIR R4 — usable by clinicians, not just a transcript.

Advocacy

On quote

Hands-on patient advocacy for the hard cases — denied claims, disputed care plans, complex transitions. Priced per case.

Referral pharmacy network
High-touch, local service

For comparison: a virtual GP subscription runs about $85 a month, and a standalone will-and-POA package about $199. CareBee starts at $20 with the POA already in it.

For employers & benefits teams

The caregiver benefit that shows its arithmetic

Caregiving employees aren't underperforming — they're doing two jobs. Harvard Business School found 80% say caregiving affects their work, while only 25% of employers treat it as a performance factor. The cost of that gap is measurable, and so is the fix.

For health systems

Discharge planning that holds once the family gets home

Discharge planners are our first channel — 15 to 20 hospital programs across 8 to 10 metros in year one. The planner hands the family a structured plan instead of a paper packet, and the coordination that usually falls apart in the first week doesn't.

Year 1
Discharge planners
15–20 hospital programs across 8–10 metros, where the caregiver is already identified and already overwhelmed.
Year 2
Pharmacy & employers
Independent pharmacies and benefits channels, reaching caregivers before the crisis rather than during it.
Year 3+
Insurers & AXERP pull-through
Payer partnerships plus CareBee arriving alongside AXERP Health in clinical accounts.

Five revenue streams from one subscriber

A caregiver who joins for coordination stays for the rest. That is what takes a $20/month household to roughly $516 in annual value — and why the mix shifts from 60% subscription in Year 1 to a balanced five-line business by Year 5.

Stream 1 · 51% of Year 5
Subscription
$20/month per household — $240 to $292 annually — plus connected devices contributing about $74.70 per household per year.
Stream 2 · 19% of Year 5
Expert add-ons
Medical Advisor at $50–$100/month, second opinions, and advocacy on quote at a 40% take. Grows from $39 to $110 per household per year.
Stream 3 · 13% of Year 5
E-commerce
Care products and supplies dropshipped at 15–25% margin, ordered against the care plan that calls for them. 12 brands and 400+ SKUs already trading.
Stream 4 · 5% of Year 5
Insurance
Commission-based from Year 2, moving to underwriting participation in Year 3 and beyond — staged deliberately, because licensing takes time.
Stream 5 · 17% of Year 5
B2B2C — employers & health systems
Per-employee-per-month benefit deployment and health-system channel programs. The same product, acquired at near-zero marginal cost through a partner instead of paid media.

Why this matters: five streams from one relationship means blended household value grows without a second acquisition event. Paid CAC of $111 against $1,028 of lifetime value is a 9.3× ratio with a 5.6-month payback.

AI-Powered · Blockchain-Secured · Patient-to-Enterprise

CareBee 1.0 is built, not sketched

200+ designed screens, native iOS and Android applications, and four years of prior development including real-world pilots. Behind the app sits AXERP Health — our clinical ERP/HIS — which is what lets a household record exchange HL7-FHIR R4 with a hospital chart.

Mobile
Native iOS & Android
Swift and C++ on iOS, Java and C++ on Android. 88.4% of our existing audience is mobile, so this was never going to be a web wrapper.
Platform
Clinical-grade backbone
Node/TypeScript middleware, Angular/Node admin, Azure AKS with RBAC, MongoDB replica sets, and Elasticsearch observability at 99.9% uptime.
Compliance
HIPAA · PCI · PIPEDA
Blockchain-anchored audit trails and encryption at rest and in transit, so clinical partners can verify integrity rather than take our word for it.
